Catrina and Leo - Garden Theater in Detroit, Michigan

A textural and modern work of art-inspired stationery and signage for Catrina and Leo's special day at the Garden Theater in Detroit.

On June 25, 2022, my client's Catrina and Leonardo were married at The Garden Theater in Detroit, Michigan and it was by far one of my favorite weddings of the year.

Catrina was a DREAM to work with. She was so incredibly trusting and inexplicably gave me total creative freedom of over what we created for her invitation suite and signage pieces. I was inspired and influenced by the distinguishable texture of the venue space, the dantiness of the floral elements that were a part of the event design, and the modern and chic touches to best suit the couple's personal preferences. This is how it turned out:

The overall design was composed of bright whites, dusty blues and shades of grey, bunches of baby's breath, and textural elements like striped linen, ceramic tile, and exposed brick.
